Abstract

In Becoming Women: The Embodied Self in Image Culture, Rice interweaves the personal narratives of 90 women of diverse backgrounds with post-structural feminist critical psychology and disability studies theory in a manner that illuminates the complex process of identifying and becoming a woman.
